I’ve done seven weeks of Medifast now and I’m very happy to announce that I’ve lost over 30lbs.
Start Weight: 248.5 lbs
Today’s Weight: 217.8 lbs
I’m continuing to keep track in Excel and it predicts that when I’m done (in five weeks) I’ll be down to 199.4 lbs. I haven’t been under 200 since junior high!
As noted, the plan is to take 2-4 weeks afterwards getting used to eating real food all day (and honestly, enjoy myself just a little) and then I’m going to do Body For Life’s 12 week program and exercise off the remaining fat and build back muscle.
This interests me. Does it taste good? And what are your allowances for occasionally eating out, or sharing a lunch with someone. I’ve already made some significant changes to my diet, but a month of this might be a good idea. It will certainly cost less than what I’m paying now (plan cost shakes out at $11.21US a day
